She was the daughter of Carl and Geraldine (Florence) Gillis. Pat devoted her life to her family; she was "Gram" to many.
She spent her time caring for the people and animals in her life. She will be remembered for her creative costumes, her muskie parade float, her wild animal rescues, her yummy cinnamon rolls and a ready cup of coffee.
She was predeceased by her husband M. Bruce Gokey and her sisters Audrey Clausen and Irene Shorts.
She is survived by brother James (Marlene) Gillis, her children Brenda (Barry Estler) Solo, Dennis (Carolyn) Solo, Vicki Solo, Dawn (James Leach) Solo, Marvin (Melissa) Gokey, and Kevin Gokey. Her grandchildren Ryan (Alicia) Solo, Rachel Solo, Stephanie (Alex) Welch, Kelsey Solo, Austin Solo, Phoebe and Zoe Solo-Sakss, Dainika and Jensyn Gokey.
There will be no visiting hours observed. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday May 28th beginning at 1 o'clock pm, located at 10860 Hotchkiss Rd, Randolph, NY 14772 all friends and family are welcome to attend.
