  SNELLVILLE, GA. - Mr. David Allan Despard, 79, died from sepsis syndrome on November 29, 2011 in Snellville, GA. He was born on July 18, 1932 in Rochester, NY to Robert and Elaine Despard. His family moved to Winter Haven, FL in the late 1940's where he and his father began a construction company during the 1960s. Mr. Despard is survived by four daughters, Laura McAllister, Diane Despard, Lisa Bearden and Yvonne Despard, two grandchildren, Graham and Rachel McAllister, all of whom reside in the metro Atlanta area. He is also survived by two sisters, Carol Staninger of Winter Haven, FL and Janice Bergstrom of Seattle, WA and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Despard will be cremated at Bill Head Funeral Home in Tucker, GA. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
