• Notes

  Gertrude Priscilla Carden was born in 1801 or 1802, the daughter of Captain Caleb Carden of Lismore. She married George Despard of Donore House, Captain in the 53rd Shropshire Light Infantry and later Resident Magistrate of Rathmolyon, County Meath. She died in London in 1864.
